Sara Ballini Ciappi (Firenze) è una modella attrice e scrittrice d’origine italiana.
In Italia, Sara studiò lingue ma anche storia dell’Arte e disegno presso l’Istituto d’Arte di Firenze e in apparente contrazzione con la sua formazione umanistica ―si iscrisse a Medicina e Chirurgia a Firenze, corso di studi che non terminò decidendo di partire per la Spagna in un momento di forte crisi esistenziale.
Durante l’adolescenza si divise tra gli studi e l’attività di modella, viaggiando, in Italia e all’Estero.
Nel febbraio del 1996 fu Playmate per Playboy Italia (servizio fotografico che poi fu pubblicato anche in Spagna) uscendo anche sul calendario del 1997.
Lo stesso anno interpretò una piccola parte come attrice nel film “Rumori di fondo” di Claudio Camarca.Ha viaggiato a Roma, Milano, Helsinki, Los Angeles e in Messico, fino a stabilirsi ne 1999 a Madrid, in Spagna dove ha vissuto 7 anni e pubblicato 3 libri. Nel 2004, “El Pais de las Sombras”, una raccolta di racconti brevi.
In seguito, e sempre in lingua Spagnola, anche “Requiem” e “Susurros de Piedra y Olvido”.
Nel 2013, “Requiem” è stato pubblicato nuovamente da Erik Jezebel Editorial (Spagna) e editato in edizione limitata, oltre che tradotto dalla stessa autrice per la prima volta anche in italiano.
Sara attualmente vive nelle campagne fiorentine, collabora via internet con molte pagine web e ha dato vita a Hekate Edizioni, traducendo, pubblicando e distribuendo alcune opere di Michael W. Ford e Thomas Karlsson.

Sara Ballini Ciappi (Florence) is an Italian-born model, actress and writer.
In Italy, Sara studied Languages but also History of Art and Design at the Art Institute of Florence and in apparent contradiction with her humanistic training, later she enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Florence, course of study which did not end by deciding to leave for Spain in a moment of intense existential crisis.
During their adolescence they had alternated their studies with the activity of model, traveling in Italy and abroad.
In February 1996 he became Playmate for Playboy Italia (photo shoot which was then also published in Spain) also appearing in the 1997 calendar.
The same year she played a small part as an actress in Claudio Comarca’s film “Rumori di fondo”. He travelled to Rome, Milan, Helsinki, Los Angeles and Mexico, until he settled in Madrid, Spain in 1999, where he lived for 7 years and published 3 books: in 2004, "El Pais de las Sombras", a collection of short stories, later, and always in Spanish, also “Requiem” and “Susurros de Piedra y Olvido”.
In 2013, “Requiem” was published again by Erik Jezebel Editorial (Spain) and edited in a limited edition, as well as translated by the same author for the first time also in Italian language.
Sara currently lives in the Florentine countryside, collaborates via internet with many web pages and has given life to Hekate Edizioni, translating, publishing and distributing some works by Michael W. Ford and Thomas Karlsson.
